The Myobrace® System is a preventive pre-orthodontic treatment that focuses on addressing the underlying causes of crooked teeth, often without the need for braces or tooth extractions. Treatment is best suited to children aged 3 to 15 and uses a series of removable appliances that encourage healthy growth and development.

How It Works
Many orthodontic problems begin long before all permanent teeth appear. Myobrace® focuses on identifying and correcting these habits early, sometimes from as young as three years of age.
The treatment teaches children to:
- Breathe through their nose
- Position their tongue correctly
- Swallow properly
- Keep their lips together
By correcting these habits, the jaws are encouraged to develop naturally, creating sufficient space for teeth to erupt into better positions and often reducing the need for traditional orthodontic treatment.
The Myobrace® System uses a series of removable intra-oral appliances worn for one to two hours during the day and overnight while sleeping. Children also complete Myobrace® Activities, a program of breathing, tongue, lip, cheek, and swallowing exercises designed to reinforce healthy habits and support proper dental development.
Treatment Stages
Myobrace® treatment focuses on correcting the causes of orthodontic problems rather than simply treating the symptoms. Treatment generally progresses through four stages:
